Wolves News · TC Athletics Welcome New Softball Head Coach – Morgan Williams

The TC Athletics Department would like to officially welcome aboard new head softball coach, Morgan Williams to our coaching staff.

Morgan grew up playing softball in the Central Florida area from the age of 6. She was a member of 4 state championship travel teams as well as making the All State team in high school. She played competitively until a knee injury ended her playing career. Morgan then started giving pitching lessons and has worked with over 100 students as well as being an assistant coach to a travel team for many years. Two years ago, Morgan started her own softball organization with teams in various age groups, two of which (her own included) entering into the largest softball organization in the country. With an education degree, she enjoys teaching not only the girls to be great players on the field but great people off of the field.

When Morgan was asked about coaching at Timber Creek, she said –  “I am so excited to be apart of the Timber Creek family! I cannot wait to get to work and get to know the players. I cannot wait to continue to get to know the players and learn what type of players they are and what they bring to the team. Players play at a different level when they have a sense of trust in their coaches and I go out of my way to build that bond. Timber Creek softball has such a bright future and I am looking forward to guiding them in the direction of finally getting that state championship!”
We are also super excited to have her as part of our athletic program and are looking forward to a successful future for our softball program.
Go Wolves!
