Boys Varsity Football, Girls Varsity Golf · September Spotlight | Gator’s Dockside Student-Athletes of the Month


The Timber Creek Athletic Department would like to recognize and congratulate seniors, Aiden Lewin and Morgan Nelson on being voted as our Male and Female Gator’s Dockside Student Athlete of the Month for September. They both exemplified what it is to be a true “Student Athlete” on the field and in the classroom with their hard work, sportsmanship and teamwork.

Aiden Lewin (Sr)
Varsity Football
Aiden is a senior and one of the key linebackers on the varsity football team. He has 37 total tackles, 1 interception, 6.5 tackles for a loss, 2 forced fumbles and 2 pass deflections in 4 games in September. Aiden was also named MaxPreps Defensive Player of the Week for the Southeast region as well as Orlando Touchdown Club Defensive Player of the Week earlier this month. Aiden maintains a 3.38 GPA while taking several AP and Honors courses. He is also part of the PIT crew who works with disabled students in the physical education setting.

Aiden has been playing football since he was 5. He has helped lead the varsity football team to a 5-1 record this season. He is also a part of the boys weightlifting team at Timber Creek. Aiden hasn’t finalized his plans for college yet but LeHigh, Albright University and Holy Cross are a few of the top colleges on his list. He plans on majoring in Business and Sports Marketing and playing collegiate football. In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with family and his teammates. A fun fact about Aiden is that he has 10 other siblings!

A big shout out to Aiden on a great season so far! We’re excited to see what’s in store for him and the Timber Creek football team the rest of the season. Go Wolves!


Gator’s Female Student Athlete of the Month

Morgan Nelson (Sr) Morgan Nelson
Varsity Golf
Morgan works very hard to improve her golf skills.  This is her 4th year as a player of the Girls Varsity Golf. She is always helping other players to improve their golf skills.  Morgan helps other players with transportation to the golf club. Her outstanding leadership contributes to the entire team success. Morgan is the head of the teacher appreciation committee, part of the of NHS and BETA club and she maintains an impressive weighted 4.88 GPA.

Morgan started playing golf for fun in elementary school but became more serious about the sport when she got into high school. She is planning on attending the University of Florida after she graduates and pursuing a degree in Engineering. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her family and in a fun fact about Morgan is that she took German for 3 years.

Congratulations again to Morgan and wishing her the best of luck as she finishes the season and closes out her final year at Timber Creek. Go Wolves!
