The Timber Creek Athletic Department is excited to announce our Super Senior Spotlight. With the spring sports season on hold, the purpose of this spotlight is to recognize and introduce to our community some of our senior standouts. We are hoping that we will return soon so all our seniors can finish out their final season at Timber Creek. Go Wolves!

Andrew Spolyar

Today we are getting to know: Andrew Spolyar
Sport: Baseball

Andrew is one of the team captains for the team this season. He is the Ace Pitcher and hits in the middle of the lineup. A true leader on and off the field. His dedication over the year is tremendous and has finally all come together. Pitching this season – he is 3-0 with a .91 ERA with 28 strikeouts. He leads the team in all pitching categories. He also leads the team in average and OBP and second in hits. Head Coach, Tim Beaman reports that our baseball team is one of the best teams in the state when Andrew is on the mound.

A: Math

Q: What is your favorite food?
A: Chicken

Q: Who is your favorite teacher at Timber Creek?
A: Mrs. Wood

Q: What is your best memory about Timber Creek?
A: Playing baseball with my best friends.

Q: What are the top 3 highlights of your high school career?
A: Being one of two sophomores to close out a big win against St Thomas Aquinas, playing for the State Championship my sophomore year, and closing out the regional championship game my junior year against Vero Beach.

Q: What is your favorite professional athlete and why?
A: Mike Trout because of how he carries himself and how humble he is.

Q: What is a skill or hobby you would like to learn?
A: I want to learn how to play golf.

Q: What will you miss most about Timber Creek?
A: Really only baseball and seeing my friends every day at practice

Q: What plans do you have after graduation?
A: I am attending Seminole State College to play baseball, get my bachelors degree in business and start pursuing my MBA.
